Maximize your comfort
Our goal is to maximize your comfort, while you use renewable energies. Following this philosophy, we have equipped our 120L PV-Boiler with two heating rods. The heating rods use the electricity directly from the pv modules.
The use of two heating rods (NEX-R2x120 and NEX-R2) enables two-zone heating of your tank in layers. The application of heating zones allows us to provide maximum comfort for the user with minimum grid power consumption.
How it works
Upper zone
At first, the upper zone of the storage tank near the hot water outlet is heated to 60°C. This enables faster hot water withdrawal. PV is prioritized as an operating source.
In the case of low solar radiation, the intelligent system reheats the upper zone of the water by using grid power. Thus, as little grid power as possible is used to keep your comfort level high.
Lower zone
As soon as the upper zone has reached its target temperature, the system switches to the lower heating rod and starts to heat the entire storage tank. The energy generated by the PV panel is stored in the water.

NEX R2-120
Our PV water heater NEX R2-120 heats your water using PV electricity and stores it in a German 120L quality tank.
Two heating rods are integrated and enable zone heating. By this, we maximize your comfort without using more electricity.

NEX R2
NEX R2 is your upgrade set for buffer tanks with two free sockets. It comes with two screw-in heating rods to enable zone heating. By this, we maximize your comfort without using more electricity.

NEX R1
NEX R1 is your upgrade set for buffer tanks with only one free socket. By using only one heating rod, it is flexible in its application and can be retrofitted into most buffer tanks.
NEX P40
A photovoltaic heat pump water heater that reduces the electricity needed to heat water by 50%. It is our first product and produces the maximum amount of hot water from a single photovoltaic panel.
A new version with more heating power and 50L volume will be available at the end of the year.
